Curiosity requires cautious judgment.
Long ago, in a dense forest, a fowler was sitting quietly under a tree, working with ropes. His hands moved quickly as he wove a strange device. Nearby, a curious Blackbird watched him closely. Unable to resist his curiosity, the Blackbird chirped, "What are you making?"
Without
looking up, the fowler replied slyly, "I’m building a grand city with tall
towers and beautiful buildings."
The
Blackbird, fascinated by the idea, hopped closer to take a better look. He
imagined a bustling city filled with birds like himself, flying freely between
tall towers. His excitement grew.
Noticing
the Blackbird’s interest, the fowler smiled and said, "Would you like to
visit my city? It’s nearly finished, and I think you’ll love it."
Overcome
with curiosity, the Blackbird eagerly flew down to see this marvelous city. But
as soon as he landed, he realized something was terribly wrong. The 'city' was
actually a net, and he was trapped! The ropes tightened around him with every
frantic flap of his wings.
The
fowler carefully picked up the tangled Blackbird, pleased with his clever
trick. The Blackbird, now caught, regretted being so hasty and letting his
curiosity guide him into danger. He wished he had been more cautious instead of
trusting so easily.
And so, the Blackbird learned a hard lesson: not everything is as it seems, and curiosity without caution can lead to trouble.
