• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Snow White

Once upon a time, there was a princess named Snow White. She lived in a castle with her father, the King, and her stepmother, the Queen. The King always told Snow White that being fair and kind was the most important thing for a royal family. "People come to the castle with problems, and they need their ruler to be fair," he said.

The Queen had a magic mirror. She would ask it, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" The mirror would always reply, "Snow White is the fairest of them all!"

This made the Queen very angry. She wanted to be the fairest. So, she decided to get rid of Snow White. She called a huntsman and ordered him to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. The huntsman took Snow White into the woods, but he couldn't do it. Snow White was so kind and innocent. He told her about the Queen's plan and said, "Run away and never come back to the castle!"

Snow White ran deep into the forest. She was scared and tired but kept running until she found a small cottage. She knocked on the door, but no one answered. She went inside and saw that the house was very messy. She thought, "Maybe if I clean up, I can stay here for the night."

Snow White cleaned the cottage and then found seven little beds in the attic. She lay across all the beds and fell fast asleep.

The cottage belonged to seven dwarfs who worked in a jewel mine. When they came home, they were surprised to find their house clean. They went to the attic and found Snow White sleeping. "Who are you?" they asked.

Snow White woke up and told them her story. The dwarfs introduced themselves as Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy. They decided Snow White could stay with them if she would help keep the house clean and teach them to read.

The next morning, the dwarfs warned Snow White not to open the door to anyone. The evil Queen found out from her magic mirror that Snow White was still alive. She disguised herself as an old woman and went to the dwarfs' cottage with a poisoned apple.

When Snow White saw the old woman, she felt sorry for her and opened the door. The old woman offered Snow White the apple. Snow White took a bite and fell into a deep sleep.

When the dwarfs came home, they found Snow White lying on the floor. They chased the Queen to the top of a mountain where she fell and was never seen again. But Snow White remained in her deep sleep.

The dwarfs were very sad. They made a glass coffin for Snow White and watched over her day and night. One day, a prince who had been looking for Snow White found her. He kissed her hand, and she woke up. The spell was broken!

The prince and Snow White were very happy to see each other. They said goodbye to the dwarfs and went to the prince's kingdom. Soon after, they got married and lived happily ever after.
