Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a young goat. One day, the goat wandered away from its herd, munching on fresh, green leaves. Suddenly, a hungry wolf appeared from behind some thick bushes. The goat was very scared because it knew the wolf wanted to eat it.
Thinking quickly, the goat said,
"Mr. Wolf, before you eat me, could you play a tune on your flute? I have
always wanted to dance to music."
The wolf was surprised but liked the
idea. "What a fun way to enjoy my meal," he thought. He took out his
flute and started to play.
As the wolf played the flute, the goat
began to dance. The cheerful music traveled through the forest and reached the
ears of some nearby dogs. Curious, the dogs followed the sound until they found
the wolf and the dancing goat.
When the dogs saw the wolf, they barked
loudly and chased him away. The wolf ran for his life, leaving the goat safe
and sound.
The clever goat, feeling very grateful,
returned to its herd, happy and safe. From that day on, the goat never wandered
far from the herd again and stayed safe from the hungry wolf.
