Aladdin
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Aladdin. His father had passed away, and Aladdin helped his mother run their family store.
One day,
a stranger walked into their store. He told Aladdin, "I am your uncle, and
I have come to see you."
Aladdin
was surprised and said, "My father never spoke of a brother." His
mother added, "My husband had no brother."
The
stranger insisted, "I promise it is true. I want to help your family
become rich and happy."
The
mother was curious and asked, "How do you plan to do that?" The
stranger replied, "There is a secret place with many treasures. I will
take your son there, and he will find wealth for both of you."
Aladdin's
mother agreed, and the stranger and Aladdin set off on a long journey through
the desert. They traveled for days until they reached a cave.
The
stranger said to Aladdin, "I know some magic. Do not be scared by what you
see." Inside the dark cave, he created a bright light with a wave of his
hand.
The
stranger drew a circle on the ground and sprinkled red dust over it. He said
some magic words, and the ground shook. A giant crystal rose from the ground.
"Do
not be afraid," said the magician. "What we need is under this
crystal." He moved the crystal with more magic words, revealing a
staircase leading into darkness.
The
magician told Aladdin, "Go down the steps. At the end, you will find a
garden with beautiful fruit. Do not touch anything. Go further, and you will
see an oil lamp. Bring it to me."
Aladdin
carefully went down the stairs. He found the garden with shiny fruit and
couldn't resist touching one. He decided to take some jewel-like fruits with
him.
At the
end of the hallway, Aladdin found the lamp. He poured out the oil and took the
lamp back to the cave entrance.
Aladdin
called out, "I have the lamp, Uncle!" The magician demanded,
"Give me the lamp now!" Aladdin felt something was wrong and refused
to hand it over until he was safe.
Angry,
the magician used his magic to seal the cave, trapping Aladdin inside. Aladdin
was scared and regretted not giving the lamp earlier.
For two
days, Aladdin was stuck in the cave. He rubbed the lamp, and a huge Genie
appeared. "Master, you have three wishes. What is your first wish?"
asked the Genie.
Aladdin
wished to be out of the cave and home. Instantly, he was outside his house,
still holding the lamp and the jewel fruits.
His
mother could not believe his story. She took the lamp and began to clean it.
Suddenly, the Genie appeared and said, "Your wish is my command!"
They wished for a feast, which appeared on golden plates.
Aladdin
and his mother lived well, selling the golden plates. One day, Aladdin decided
he wanted to marry the Princess. He took the jewel fruits to the Sultan as a
gift.
The
Sultan was impressed but set challenges for Aladdin. With the Genie's help,
Aladdin completed them. In the end, Aladdin and the Princess married, and they
lived happily ever after.
