Mother
Once upon a time, there was a small rabbit named Bunny. He lived with his big family in an old forest where the trees were tall and flowers bloomed everywhere. Bunny's mother always told him to stay close to her so he wouldn't get lost.
But Bunny was a curious and stubborn
little rabbit. One day, when no one was watching, he wandered away and sat
under a big tree. He heard his mother calling for him, but he ignored her
because he was enjoying the warm sunny day and soon fell asleep.
Suddenly, Bunny woke up to the sound of
barking dogs. He was very scared! Luckily, the dogs were chasing birds and
didn’t come near him. Bunny knew he should go back to his mother and family,
but he didn't know which way to go.
As he tried to find his way home, he
saw some boys who started throwing stones at him. Bunny was fast and managed to
avoid getting hit. Then, he heard a loud bang! A man had shot a gun, but the
bullet missed Bunny and hit the bushes.
Bunny ran as fast as he could until he
found a fallen tree. He hoped his mother would be there, but she wasn't. It was
getting dark, and poor Bunny had to sleep alone.
The next morning, it rained heavily, so
Bunny hid inside the hollow tree to stay dry. When the sun came out, he was
very hungry and decided to go look for food. To his delight, he saw his mother
and family having their meal. Bunny was so happy to be back! His mother didn’t
scold him; she gave him lots of food instead. Bunny promised himself he would
never wander away from his loving mother again.
