• The Shepherd’s Boy and the Wolf

Thruth

Once upon a time, there was a young shepherd boy who lived in a small village on a mountain. He had a big imagination, and one day, he came up with a way to have some fun and break free from his boring routine. He went close to the village, where people could hear him, and started shouting, "Wolf! Wolf! Help me!"

The villagers got scared and rushed to help him, but when they arrived, there was no wolf—just the shepherd boy laughing at them.

They were very angry and said, "What a foolish boy!" Then they left.

The boy felt proud of himself and decided to play the same trick another day. Again, the villagers believed his lie and came running to help, only to find out it was a joke.

But the third time the boy cried out for help, no one came. This time, the wolf was real, and it wasn’t a joke. But the villagers didn’t believe him anymore.

The lesson here is that once you lose people’s trust, they won’t believe you, even if you’re telling the truth.
